Birthday parties are a big business for children. In fact, according to GigMasters.com, a website that helps people connect with vendors for their parties, 7 out of 10 parents spend more than $300 on their child’s birthday celebration, with more than 1 in 7 running up a tab of $1,000. The International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions says the average revenue for hosting a child’s birthday party is $370.
